The United States Military Academies were created for the undergraduate education and training of U.S. armed forces officers. Though hotly debated issues of coeducation and even sexual harassment have riddled the schools, the five federal academies produce highly regarded military graduates. This book looks at the founding of the five military academies, famous personnel, scandal and athletic traditions of the military schools. Project Webster represents a new publishing paradigm, allowing disparate content sources to be curated into cohesive, relevant, and informative books. To date, this content has been curated from Wikipedia articles and images under Creative Commons licensing, although as Project Webster continues to increase in scope and dimension, more licensed and public domain content is being added.
