Electromagnetism is the force that causes the interaction between electrically charged particles; the areas in which this happens are called electromagnetic fields. Electromagnetism manifests as both electric fields and magnetic fields. Electric fields are the cause of several common phenomena, such as electric potential, the voltage of a battery, electric current, and such as the flow of electricity through a flashlight. Classical electromagnetism studies consequences of the electromagnetic forces between electric charges and currents. It provides an excellent description of electromagnetic phenomena whenever the relevant length scales and field strengths are large enough that quantum mechanical effects are negligible. An electrical network is an interconnection of electrical elements such as resistors, inductors, capacitors, transmission lines, voltage sources, current sources and switches. This book studies electromagnetism including free space, displacement current, Eddy current, capacitance, inductance, and resonator.
