douard Baldus, a French-Prussian landscape photographer, made many contributions to early landscape photography, particularly within France as commissioned works. This book takes a look at his photographic style, background, and commissioners, such as Georges-Eug ne Haussman and James Mayer de Rothschild. A brief look at permanent collections, such as those in the Windsor Castle and the Mus e du Louvre, is included.Project Webster represents a new publishing paradigm, allowing disparate content sources to be curated into cohesive, relevant, and informative books. To date, this content has been curated from Wikipedia articles and images under Creative Commons licensing, although as Project Webster continues to increase in scope and dimension, more licensed and public domain content is being added.
