Black cats are not bad luck! They don't play tricks! In fact, they'd rather have treats, just like you! And black cats DON'T work for witches! They're scared of them!But black cats DO love Halloween! They love it so much that they lead the charge in decorating outdoors! How else do those impossibly high streamers and floaty ghosts and goblins get there?These are facts, but for one small kitten named Taffy, they aren't the truth! She believes with her whole heart that she IS a source of bad luck! The other cats try to teach her otherwise, but Taffy will not be swayed! She has made a woman fall off a ladder, a dog splashed with water from a car driving through a puddle, a woman's bag of groceries to bust, and a potted plant to slip and break! All by walking past! The other cats tried and tried, but they just couldn't convince Taffy all those happened by accident! And then the owner of the potted plant arrives. It's a witch! The cats were scared at first, but the witch isn't scary at all! She's so different than they thought that Taffy happily went home with her!
