After converting to the Catholic Church, Brian Bookheimer was regularly asked by his Protestant family and friends, Why would you want to become Catholic? Unfortunately, it is very difficult to adequately answer this question in just a few sentences. And although his children are young, they too would someday be faced with the same questions, and he would need to assist with educated answers. appreciation of the Catholic Liturgy, which led to a greater appreciation of the Catholic Church. Because of the author's love for the Mass, Scripture, and the history of the early Church, he has written a book that follows the format of the Liturgy, and analyzes it from a biblical, historical and doctrinal perspective, briefly addressing those beliefs that separate Christians. It is his hope that the information contained in this book will assist the reader in deepening their relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ and gain a greater appreciation for the Church that He founded.
