Flowers That Bloom is a collection of my poetry that is based on growth. This book starts off abrasive and dark, and it transitions into love and light, along with a few bumps because thats just life! I decided to call it Flowers That Bloom because I saw myself as a flower. I was a seed at first, wanting to bud and grow. Dirt was thrown on me and water rained down on me, and I thought that I would wilt away and never be able to grow. But I learned that those things are necessary in a flowers life. I had to undergo and overcome many obstacles in life. Im sure that the readers have had to as well. That is partly why I put together this book. I wanted to be able to share my experiences with others. I wanted to shed light on healed wounds and let everyone know that it will be okay! You are transitioning. You are blooming!
