Sometimes we learn the most about ourselves through the stories of others. Gone is a collection of poems written over the course of four years that work to capture the inner-workings of a busy teenage girl's mind. Poems about nature, young love, deep pain, and introspection all collide, creating youth in a snapshot; filtered through the lense of the author's life. Poetry is the art of sharing deep emotions with words and rhythm. Gone shares the deepest alongside the most basic emotions of Phoebe O'Neill in hope of creating a connection between the readers and thier inner-selves.
