Tom Scioli is a contemporary comics artist who gained prominence as co-creator of Godland, a Kirby-esque space opera which was nominated for an Eisner Award, for Image Comics. He next drew and co-scripted (with IDW editor-in-chief John Barber) Transformers vs. GI Joe. Recently, he wrote and drew "Super Powers," a series of short comics appearing in DC's experimental imprint Young Animal, and Fantastic Four: Grand Design. He also recently completed a modern reimagining of Go-Bots for IDW. He is known for his unconventional drawing style, dense page layouts, and imaginative writing. He's one of a small number of mainstream comics creators today who writes, draws, colors, and hand-letters his work.
