Evie Sternberg isn't thrilled that it's almost Christmas. It's a time for family, and hers has been estranged for a long time. So instead of moping around during the season, she decides to work on assignment writing an article on Amish traditions in Michigan. It's the 11th day of Christmas and a snow storm closes most roads, but Evie is almost to her destination when her car spins out of control on the icy road and down an embankment. An Amish family finds her and takes her home until the storm blows over. Their ways are not her ways and conflict arises. Will there be calm in the storms on the outside and inside of the house?
