Lizanne Dyer has spent many years fighting her demons-some of which she has conquered and others she continues to battle. Through introspective reflection and years of focusing on growing personally, Lizanne now realizes that her struggles have made her stronger and helped her accept herself for who she is without the need for external validation. In a poignant collection of poems that reflect on her path through life to date, Lizanne leads others through the five stages of grief in order to illustrate that when we stay the course and push through, no matter how difficult the struggle, there is peace and joy at the end of the journey.
