In the midst of the Great Depression, Pepperdine University was founded as a Christian liberal arts school. The private university now overlooks the Pacific Ocean in what is now considered one of the country's most scenic campuses.
This book looks at the foundation of Pepperdine University, what prompted the campus relocation in the 1960s and the most-famous Pepperdine alumni, including Kim Fields, Brandy Norwood and Rod Blagojevich.
