Sometimes I wonder how I didn’t go crazy and end up in some nut house through all the madness I had endured throughout the years. The violence I witnessed as a child, being molested, dealing with alcoholism, deceitful people and then the fact I was gay. This had such a huge impact on me causing me to become such an angry person and it took a long time for me to seek help and forgive those who were responsible. I needed to stop judging those who were also in fear and pain as I once was. Trust me it never fully goes away but you have to learn to deal with it and look forward because you really don’t have a choice. You can’t keep living in the past otherwise there is no future for you. The way I see it is that you live life for yourself not for others as long as you don’t hurt anyone along the way with your actions. We are all human and far from perfect so the easiest way to have peace is to accept everyone, no matter what or who they are. You or I don’t have a right to judge. We are who we are. Less
