Founders Ezra Cornell and Andrew Dickson White wanted a university with a wide array of subjects and graduates with a well-rounded view of the world. Now considered a member of the Ivy League, Cornell University is a premiere U.S. institution with over 255,000 living alumni.
This book looks at the factors leading to Cornell's founding, its traditions and the programs that make it a leading school today.
