Corrie ten Boom's personal story is an inspiration to millions and has continued to be a bestseller since its original publication in 1972. It has also been made into a popular feature film. She and her family risked their lives to hide Jews in their house during the Second World War. Corrie died in 1983, aged 93. You can visit 'The Hiding Place' in Holland today - it is now a museum.
