Knut Brovik is an old, low-sighted man; hair and beard white. She is wearing a black, slightly fluffy but well groomed jacket. On the glasses, on the neck a white, slightly yellowed cloth. Ragnar Brovik is about thirty years old, well dressed, blond: his posture is a little stooped. Kaija Fosliis a weak-eyed, young girl, a little over twenty, neatly dressed but sickly looking.
