In this the last film for famed actress Jean Harlow (she died during its production). Harlow appears as a poor girl from a horse-breeding family whose business has been purchased by wealthy bookie Clark Gable. At first they fight like two tomcats--Harlow is engaged to one of Gable's racetrack competitors and she tries to assist her fiancee in his schemes to thwart Gable--but soon it is Gable and Harlow who are in love. Following Harlow's death a stand-in was found and the final scenes were completed. Some feel this is Harlow at her finest. Less
