The Death of Wallenstein is the third part of Friedrich Schiller's Wallenstein trilogy, the drama about the decline of the famous general Wallenstein. The last part of the trilogy, like the second part, is written in blank verse and consists of five acts; it ties directly to the second part, thus also starting in 1634 in Pilsen in Bohemia. The plotters are identical, so, for the most part, it is Wallenstein's leader and his family. For the last two elevators, the location of the action changes to the city of Eger, where Wallenstein and his allies flee. There he was murdered on February 25, 1634. Less
