Life and death are certainties, everything in between is chance. A good family and good friends may give you a good start. A bad family..... Christian Thomas' first memory is being slapped across the face by his mother. Life it seemed, would be tough. Throughout his childhood, beatings were more common than meals. This made him lean and durable. It also gave him demons. Twenty years later, he is a social worker and spends his time protecting the most vulnerable in South Wales' society. A job he loves. A job he's made for. However, the demons within him are strong and violence is never that far away. His best friend Mikey, is a policeman, with an equally disturbing past. The two friends make it their mission to punish the vile in society, especially the perverse. When Christian meets a young lady named Katy, his life starts to turn around. Dark thoughts disappear. Laughter and walks on the beach become the norm. But when a face from the past returns to haunt Christian, a decision has to be made. Does he forget the past and give in to love completely? Or does he hunt the monster that haunts him? Less
