The Legend of King Arthur exists in many forms and variations and though they may differ greatly, they focus on the same core characters, events and places. The legendary king who brought peace and unification to a land wracked with civil war and various forms of abuses. For many modern cultures, his Camelot stands as an ideal, a symbol for what could be and (perhaps) once was. This book explores the origins of the legend and its evolution through history. Encounter Merlin, Guinevere, Lancelot and many of the other characters central to the legend as well as the famed sword Excalibur and the places now lost to myth and legend.
