It is the story of protagonist, Sir Antony Hubert musing his boredom with being dead and how the perfection of everything in heaven suffers a failure in substance. It was originally published in 1930 and we are republishing it here with a new introductory biography of the author. Benet, born on 22nd July 1898, was an accomplished writer at an early age, having had his first book published at 17.
