There is a reason why children love fairy tales. Goodness, morality, and a sense of justice are virtues built into human nature. This desire for just and happy ends is not confined to the little ones but remains with us throughout life, and that regardless of our religious inclinations or life experiences. Sadly, good, clean stories with moral lessons are hard to find these days. Our television channels, newspapers, and social media outlets feed us a buffet of lust, sensuality, and violence because morality does not sell. Movies and television shows with a G or even PG rating are struggling to find a market. Like Israel during the period of the judges, we are back to the days when everyone is doing what is right in their own eyes. This compilation of short stories is for those who still believe in the power of right behavior and the goodness of the human character to make a positive difference in our world.
