ThePreposition Book is intended as a thorough guide and workbook to address students’ questions and misconceptions regarding English prepositions and improve their ability to use prepositions fluently.  The book comprehensively covers prepositions and also provides opportunities to practice many other essential points of English grammar and usage practice.
 
The Preposition Book is organized by level of difficulty but was written for
intermediate-level students.  Many exercises are included within each chapter, and Putting It Together and Expansion Exercises are designed to give students even more opportunity to practice.  A Comprehensive Test appears at the end of each chapter.
 
In the Preposition Pinball, Carp Derby, and Diamond Mine games, students have the opportunity to view scores and mistakes at any time during their current session with opportunities for on-the-fly explanations for any item. Each user-friendly game includes rich explanations of preposition usage, tracks student scores and mistakes, and has a test-generator feature. These games make learning prepositions easy and fun! 
 
Preposition Pinball and Other Games can be used with both Mac and Windows operating systems.   
Preposition Pinball and OtherGames accompanies and may be used in conjunction with The Preposition Book: Practice toward Mastering English Prepositions (0-472-03166-X), which is sold separately or packaged with the CD-ROM.  The CD-ROM reinforces learning from the text and provides extra practice.  Site licenses are available.
