The Row is a gritty, emotional drama based on the experience of three youth's living on the streets of Skid Row, Los Angeles. In this barren, hopeless wasteland lying on the outskirts of the city, those inhabiting this societal swamp have been forgotten in plain sight, while a luxurious, decadent world just miles away overlooks their suffering day by day. The drug abuse, criminal injustice, and relentless abandonment by all social welfare has transformed these individuals into hardened street kids and skids, who's only true claim to life is the pulse beneath their skin. They've been medicated, abused and left to die, while those around them seek the greed of the American Dream. But, what these privileged citizens, comfortable in their urban paradise, don't know, is that there's a storm coming...a storm built around the dream of a few, to take down the many. A dream built on the nightmares of living in Skid Row. A dream that will, if successful, annihilate the establishment with the help of the 40,000 desperate, despairing individuals that are stuck on The Row. A group that has become mobilized under the cunning, vengeful eye of one man who is prepared to start a revolution, or more accurately... a civil war.The story begins in the current day, with three friends who have grown up on the streets of Skid Row. These kids, forgotten by their parents and society alike, have relied on theft and hustling for their survival. When they are unexpectedly given an opportunity to make some quick cash, they don't hesitate to jump on the offer. What follows is a quick and insidious recruitment of the group into an underground militia created with the mission to start a revolution against the upper class citizens of nearby metropolitan Los Angeles. Although initially consenting to this gig, the group quickly begins to realize that they have become unknowing participants in a a deep, dark revolution that threatens to forever change their lives, while violently ending many others.
