“The Scare Cure” will retell the reader about young Yankee adventure named of Tompkinson who found his way in Carondelet or Vuide Poche. It was a name of the French settlement on the Mississippi river. This man after taking a house hung a shingle out announcing that he practiced medicine. That's exactly the thing which took him into the weird story.
