2011 Reprint of the 1922 Illustrated Edition. Full facsimile of the original edition, not reproduced with Optical Recognition Software. Larkin believed that the "First Coming" of Christ, important as it was, was not the doctrinal center of the Scriptures. In other words, Christ's "First Coming" was not the center of a circle that contains all doctrine, but was one of the foci of an ellipse of which the other center is the "Second Coming." Larkin does a close textual reading of the bible in terms of this "Second Coming," the truth of which he sees as amply documented in the bible. By the estimation of many Bible believers Larkin was the most insightful and well-equipped Bible student of his day, and even to this present day. His books are filled with charts and biblical exegesis. Larkin is perhaps best known as the author of Dispensational Truth, also available from Martino Publishing.
