The author would like to quote from two sources to describe his stories. Firstly, from Gapersblock, these are the words of Jeff Mc Mahon of Contrary Magazine. We regularly publish an Irish writer named Edward Mc Whinney who sends us poetic slices of life in which nothing out of the ordinary happens, but your heart aches nonetheless for the ordinary human. To me, that's a sublime achievement, when a writer can reach inside you and pluck a chord without effecting any overt drama. I personally value that kind of story more than one that masters the trajectory of the traditional short story. Secondly, these words from Michael Alexander Chaney; Stories. about a writer, a man alone yet fully aware of his surroundings, best appreciated for language than for plot. For sheer descriptive genius and for brushing up on your dialogue, consult this one as your next textbook. The author wishes to thank both for their kind words. Less
