This is the story of two runaway teenagers in love in the Sixties.
Tie Dye is a fashion, an industry and the baby of the Sixties. Julietta Bonaventura is a hippie entrepreneur selling her incense, occasional ounce of pot, lsd and handmade tie dye in Grant Park, downtown Chicago. Don't be shocked LSD was legal for a while in the Sixties. During which marijuana wasn't legal!
Grant Park was a hotbed of political activity. It was located across the street from the SDS riot and many protests marches on Michigan Avenue.
Julie helps hide these two teens and faces anti-hippie prejudice in a small midwestern town.
