The Lord Jesus said, “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.”(Matthew 5:8, NIV). The Bible says, “Make every effort to live in peace with all men and be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord.”(Hebrews 12:14, NIV).It is obvious from the above verses that to be holy and to have a pure heart, are one and the same thing. Those whose hearts are pure are holy. Those whose hearts are impure are unholy.Only those whose hearts are pure will see God. Those whose hearts are not pure will not see God.
