Boonie the Baboon's Lost Balloons is a short children's story about a just turned eight-year-old African baboon and his group of friends, consisting of a rhino called Rupert, an elephant called Erik, and a cheetah called Charlie, all celebrating his birthday. Each of which have their own coloured balloon as part of the festivities. However, a small but sudden dust-twister arrives and causes the balloons to be flung off every which way. So the four friends set out to find them, almost every one of them eventually finding the task a lot more challenging than first anticipated. Rupert painfully struggles with trying to get a straight answer out of an incredibly slow giraffe, Charlie ends up running afoul of a rascally aardvark trying run off with one of the balloons, and Erik ends up buried under half a forest for his efforts. It will be up to Boonie to help his friends trying to help him save the day.
