This is a story of our raccoon named Lafitte Beauregard also known as "Titi". We took care of him since birth when he was abandoned by his mother. He may have thought he was a cat because he actually fed from our 'family cat' who had kittens of her own for the first few weeks. When Titi was a few months old, we tried to let him go out in the wilderness but it would come back crying and would not leave. Finally, we did not have any choice and kept him for 12 years.
