Children of the Promise is a trilogy of biblical historical nonfiction for readers across all ages, although it was specifically written for intermediate and older students. Each story may stand independently although put together, the three represent the history of the children of Israel starting at their founding, the birth of their most famous leader, and ending with their freedom. Each story contains elements of fictional plot surrounding the biblical account presented in the King James Version. The writer's objective is to entice the reader to read the authentic Bible stories with heightened understanding and to make life decisions with good discretion.
