Mind BogglingHere we have our basic romance, with all the most excellent components any romance, one ought to have. Since she is likely to read it, the more steamy episodes have been omitted, but if you'd like to witness a miracle in the making, here it is. It is a glance back into our beginnings, our first year, into that exquisitely uncomfortable uncertainty, of whether our frankly stellar bliss was likely to continue. We wondered whether our personal wants, wishes and desires were the only consideration on the table, in the first place, or whether we were actually in love. It was an honest question, deserving an honest answer.Dropping Out One wonders where the idea of losing one's mind, takes a person in the first place, in the reaches of perception. Where can one go without their mind? Well, it is, in one sense, a figure of speech, like being a couple cans short of a six pack, or being a quart low, having lost one's marbles. If you dare to really want to know, the reply is safely recorded in print, among the pages of my writing, and you can find an answer with impunity, if you have patience, which is less than it took me.
