Happily, the first edition of ADO Examples and Best Practices received glowing praise from a variety of reviewers, trainers, and devel­ opers allover the world. The first edition was not designed as a tutorial on basic ADO; it assumed you had at least some experience with ADO (there are lots of elementary ADO books).
