When I was eighteen, I traveled to Australia to get the wanderlust out of my system. I met a friend and together we hunted kangaroos and sold the hides for profit. We worked odd jobs at a sheep station for pocket change and did construction work in the Snowy Mountains for travel money. Once, we had to sing for our supper to earn money for gas. These experiences made me appreciate all the more, the opportunities I had as a teenager and the luxuries I had taken for granted.
