Buddhism was a respectable religion in Metropolis, people regularly donated money to the temples and the monks, for they were the loyal practitioners of the religion. On this note one Buddhist must be mentioned, her name was May Regent and she was a Buddhist found otherwise of the models of virtue. Unfortunately, she was one of the many who became a victim of the fraudulent practices of the Kindness Monastery, a temple managed by a fake nun.In order to know what was going on, May contacted many people whom she knew, but the more she investigated the more corrupted she found the Buddhist temples to be.Instead of doing charity for Buddhists, perhaps the charitable money was sponsoring the swindlers to do all sorts of bad things.
