This Proverbs workbook will help parents teach their children the practical wisdom of God. The issues discussed - money, friends, diligence, response to aggression, pride, discipline, etc. - are relevant to our daily lives and will arise in your family sooner or later. These lessons can help lay a foundation of godly values and guidelines for your children.Our family used the workbook when our children were 8 and 10 years old. Older children and adults will find no problem in being challenged by the material because these issues are in the heart, not the mind. The workbook has been used in several churches, in many families, and also by a high school senior class in practical living.Recently updated for publication, the Proverbs workbook would be a great addition to home school curriculum and could also be used by adult small groups to explore God's wisdom in the book of Proverbs.Dick Hockett and his wife Betty live in San Jose, CA, where they attend a local church. They have two married children and six grandchildren. Dick is retired from high-tech industry in Silicon Valley and has taught Bible studies for many years in California and in the Midwest. Less
