                                                Scipio's Dream; or, The Dream of Scipio (Latin, Somnium Scipionis), written by Cicero, is the sixth book of De re publica. It describes a fictional dream vision of the Roman general Scipio Aemilianus, set two years before he commanded the destruction of Carthage in 146 BC. Laelius de Amicitia, or simply De Amicitia is a treatise on friendship by the Roman statesman and author Marcus Tullius Cicero, written in 44 BC. Less
