Once upon a time, in a distant and long forgotten forest, there was a hut.And in this hut, an old monk with a beard down his knees, was living there. In the forest where the old man had lived his days, people had not stepped there in ages, only the living birds of the sky and the wild animals dwelt there. The old monk’s life was an ordinary one: he had a goat from which he obtained milk, he used to pick up different kind of fruits from the forest and also to bring water from a nearby river. As his strength got weaker and weaker, the old man felt discouraged. He would have desired to hear once again, just for a few moments, a voice of man before going to the Lord. Therefore, he began to pray fiery so that God may release His endurance upon him and to fulfill his one and last desire.All being said and done, one day, as he went down the river to bring water, from far away and out of nowhere, a child’s cry was suddenly heard.
